`Hi Guys:

Well not too much going on in the way of Projects/Builds, so with that in mind I guess I will bore everyone with my Robinhood-25.

Been completed for about a month but no maiden yet, the weather , aahhh yes "the weather" !

Thanks Roger, I really love the Robinhood series. Only problem I had with the Robinhood 80 I had was the big ass wing. It was designed with a one piece wing, I should have changed the design to a two piece.

The 25 is a great size at 52" WS. I have the kit plans and have been thinking about blowing up a set to 60". I have a beautiful little Saito FA40 that would be just right. Hummm, maybe.

Right after I saw yours one came up on Ebay. Maybe I could make it electric. If I get it. Very Happy

Hi Roger-

The 25 is a very good prospect for electric. Super simple build and strong as a Ox I think a 35/30/800 on 3S would be a great combination. Of course I never overpower anything (which has cost me) but I like to fly on the wing not the prop. Maybe a 42/45/600-800 would be better.

Hope you get it.

Best,

Tom

I have a Saito FA30 in it and AUW ready to fly (empty tank) is 4.0-lbs. The little 30 will be a happy guy.

If I win it I will try a 35 40 1400. Using a 9x6 prop.
