Hi Guys:

Got the cabin windows and windscreen in, set the frames with about 300 Sockethead screws,
#0 X .187. Micro Fasteners has got any thing you could want for models.

Guess I will get the electronics in next week.

Dave and Kevin I just got my order from Balsa USA in, it was delayed waiting for my strut material for the Robinhood wings. Anyway I will be able to start cutting your auto-gyro wood. May not have it all ready by next meeting but I will try.

Will look pretty fair on the flte line, just enough detail without going overboard.

Thanks Kevin, I have been working on it when not in the middle of something else. Struts are almost done, had to debate with myself the best/easiest attachment and yet be functional. I think it si going to look really good at the field.

Hi Guys:

Thanks for the comments. Haven't been doing too much on the Robinhood but I have the the AG kits cut for Dave and Kevin, just waiting on some FRP from McMaster to finish the heads. I will bring them to the next meeting.

Dave your welcome. I believe the 9503 is a great radio, I love mine.

Thanks Roger, I will have to go check out the Robinhood on Ebay. One thing about the 'Hoods is they are so dirt simple you really only need the plans. I have been thinking about taking mine to the FedEx copy center in Madison and shooting a set at about 60% which would give me a 48" Robinhood. It would be just rigt for my MVVS .15 diesel coming in from the Netherlands.

This spring should be great at the field, lots of new planes. Especially want to see Rob's AT-6, Frank's Cessna 195, Roger's many projects, Steve's and all those I haven't heard about that are coming to a boil in secret basement endeavors ...... it's gonna be great !

Didn't World Engines make this kit in a couple of different sizes?

Hi Roger:

Yes they did, 80" and 99", mine is the 80". I don't believe it is currently in production, my kit was made in the mid 1980's.

Thanks for the link.

Hi Roger:

Thanks for the link, that is exactly the kit I have. I paid $140.00 for mine shipped. I bet this one will be a better deal, I am watching.

Hi Roger:

You know I think you are right, I remember reading about one but I wasn't aware it ever went into production. Would like to have one, I am going to make a 48" for the .15 MVVS diesel I have coming. They are great flyers.

Hi Dave:

I will be at the next meeting if it is decent weather. I want to bring the AG kit's to you and Kevin, you can just bring the manual to the meeting. Only cost for the kit is balsa, etc probably around $20.00 - $25.00.

I have JR's single transmitter case.
