Forward flight!

Did my 1st deliberate forward flight after work with the Genesis.
The EXI is much more stable, so if I can do it with the Genesis, it should be easier with the EXI.
Started tail in, turned right side in, flew about 30 feet, turned around, flew past me left side in, turned around, flew past me right side in.
Total distance was 60 feet either way.
Did this for 2 1/2 batteries, about 10 feet in the air most of the time.
It wasn't pretty, thats for damn sure, but I didn't crash.

Meeting Steve sat. afternoon to deliver his 450 case and I am going to fly both heli's, I am getting more confident in the wind!

Dave, when you are in forward flight with your heli's, are you in rate mode or heading hold?

Hey Troy, I fly in heading hold all the time, actually the only way I have ever flown my gas heli's I need to find a hobby shop tommorrow morning that has some 30% heli fuel but should be to the field about 12 or so. confidence is good!!!!

Delafield has hobbytown usa, they might have it, or Madison.
I have some 20% here, risky? 12% lubrication, Byron race fuel, nitro.
This stuff is like 6 years old, but my nitro truck rips on it, up until last week even.
1/3 of a gallon.

Slightly off topic Dave, but is there a way for us to connect tx's, trainer wise? I really want to try this mini tele, but I am going to need some help.

Do you have said cord? I can pick it up if you don't, not sure what to get though.

I don't have the trainer cord. I'll make some calls in the am and see if those two radios are compatable trainer cord wise and let ya know.

Hey Dave/Troy, if there is a problem with DX5 to DX6 you can use my 9303 as long as you have the cord. Will be out Saturday, I haven't been out in several days so I will be early and mow the grass.

No Í didn't charge the Cessna since my last flight.
