I meant "supposed to be" for now @ your learning point.( or mine for that matter as thats were mine is ) The raptor manual calls for that location to be for beginner, normal and fai aerobatics and the outside holes for 3d.
I tried moving mine out once and really disliked it as I'm really trying to make my heli flying smooth...smooth...smooth, and that certainly took away from the effect i was looking for per say ( but I know i am not in the heli "norm " ) as I am trying to adapt more of my airplane style of flying to my heli flight learnings

I want to be able to fly like you guys, and maybe bust out the occasional inverted hover.... Pipe dream.

Troy, I think with the raptor you'll be flying like ya want in no time. Just take your time and set some realistic goals for your self.
Every flight you'll learn some thing new and be able to do some thing you couldn't do the flight before. Just little things like being able to fly for 30 seconds without scaring yourself when the previous flights it was only a 15 second comfort window. Soon it will be 1 minute then 2 minutes and then you'll fly a whole flight and realize your heli did every thing ya told it to do and never threatened to crash itself on ya
You are doing really well, and learning to fly a heli is certainly a challenge and something ya don't learn in overnight, but is very rewarding once you really start gettin the hang of it!!!
We are all hear to help ( I would have never done it without Scott's help, Thanks Scott!! ) so don't hesitate to ask.
I have to place a Heliproz order this week and can order a header tank for ya if ya want, I think they are 5 bucks with the mount. let me know
