Hi Guys:

I have my little Mini-Telemaster for sale. I really liked the look of the kit so I had to build one and found it to be a really sweet little airframe. But I have put enough time on it so I will move on, most of you know that is what I do, I love to build.

It is currently set up with:
Exceed 450 Motor and Volcano 25A ESC, a Electrifly 11.1V/3-S/25C/1600mah li-po.
Four HiTec servos, Two HS81's for elevator and rudder, two HS55's for the ailerons.

I can sell it pretty much anyway you might want:

Airframe only ........................ $35.00
Servos- add ......................... $35.00
Motor/ESC- add .................... $33.00
Li-Po- add............................ $25.00

Everything was new for this airframe. I built it last year and flew it a couple dozen times and 4 or 5 times this year.

Receiver is JR -AR500 2.4Ghz full range w/the extra aileron port. Most of you would not want the receiver but if you did want it you could have a "Bind-N-Fly" package with all the above. If you did want receiver add $40.00.

If anyone has any interest give a call, e-mail or post here. We can set up a time and I will meet you at the field and you can fly it.

Hi Troy:

Yes the receiver will bind to the DX6i. It is one of the newest Spektrum receivers. It will bind to anything "Spektrum". It is a full range receiver with dual aileron ports so one can plug directly in or use a "Y" and only one port.

Hi troy:

I would consider it a excellent trainer. The Tele's all fly hands off and self recover. Also once it is trimmed to the receiver it will ROG unassited.

Hi Troy:

Sure, be happy to. Could meet you tomorrow morning if you like. I don't know about flying because of the wind situation but we could bind your transmitter to check it out. Probably around 1000 hrs would work well, if the wind is going to go thru the morning calming before all hell breaks loose it seems it is around that time. If this is no good for you just let me know, anytime but Monday I will be busy then. By the way check with Dave on the trainer aspects, he knows the Tele's .

Hi Troy:

It was pleasure and I appreciate the sale and knowing where the Tele is going.

I believe you will be more than happy with her. Get Dave, or any of the good pilots (not me) to help you with first few flights and she will be a good teacher.

Also, glad we could get a key made for you, so that issue is put to bed.

Best,

Tom

Hey Tom,
Do you have to do some disassembly to remove the battery for charging?
Or do you bring the charger close to the battery?
It seems like it is in there pretty good.

Hi Troy:

I always put the battery in and brace it in place. That little piece of balsa will "snap" out if you want to remove the battery. I charge in place. I know the "book" says to remove batteries for charging but to tell you the truth, I don't beleive it is necessary with todays batteries. When the Li-Po's first came on the market the darn things were exploding all over the place. Chargers were not really doing the job and hitting them too hard I think. Anyway, I try to stay with good name brand batteries and a good charger, I use a Triton-2 and feel very confident with it. Now if a hard accident is in the picture, I take the batteries and stick them in a box and cycle a few times to make sure they are not damaged.

Hey I forgot to give you the packaging and data sheet on the AR500, I will stick it in my truck and pass it on the next time I see you.

Your vid on the "Windy Day" heli work looks darn good !

Hey Troy, Like Tom says, you will be fine charging the li-po's in the plane. I have a couple electrics that the batts have never been taken out to charge. Tho I did have a plane burst into flames on my dining room table Shocked Shocked Shocked
