Stick of Sticks

Just Thought I would share my latest project.
I got the kit from Roger a few years ago and finally got it finished.
The kit is by Rousch Manufacturing from the late 70's to early 80's
It features a foam wing. I powered it with a CRRC26 engine.This is the first plane I am using a LIFE battery 3000MAh 6.6 volt Hyperion.
the battery weighs less than a 2500 4.8 volt sub C nicad pack. I also have a RCEXEL ignition shut off with a battery eliminator circut per Rogers info. Steve

Really nice Stik. Did you shorten the nose moment to get the 26cc to balance ?
It looks a little shorter to me.

I am just finishing a Mini Bipe (28" w/Thunder Tiger .070), I did it in yellow also, I'll put some pics up later.

Tom the plans showed to shorten the fusalage for a gas engine. With the design of the newer engines I could have made it a little longer.

Hey that sounds good Steve. I may have to do "carrier" takeoffs from my bench with a 8 foot plywood extension. Those liitle wheels and grass can be a problem, but I am only at 28 oz's so maybe I can make a ROG.

Second alternative would be for you haul me up ala the "Goblin"/B-36 combo. Keep a spare servo port open to operate the hook.

Hey Rog for some reason I thought that was Steve's plane, the Miller sticker should have given me a clue You still have that?

I just took the picture yesterday. It is the Midwest Das Bipe Stik. The covering is Micafilm and it is the first Wankel.
