Mine is a heli one, but you can pick airplane when setting up a new model.

Used to be when you bought a computer radio, you had to specify heli or airplane. I think it has something to do with the switch layout on the transmitter itself. The aircraft one may not have hover pitch and hover throttle trims on it. If you never had it, you won't miss it. Kind of like Model Match, right Steve?

Your aircraft radio does have a heli function in it doesn't it?

The airplane one has a trainer/flap switch instead of hover pitch for starters.

both have the same programs. the helli has the ratchet removed from the throttle. all models are set to the helli default. switches are the same, only different positions.
